The Busfeild Arms is ideal for those seeking stunning accommodation in a relaxing and warm environment. It is situated in the small village East Morton surrounded by beautiful Yorkshire countryside.

The Busfeild is an old establishment which has undergone extensive refurbishment by the new management to transform it into a desirable restaurant and bar with luxurious accommodation. It is the perfect location to come to relax and unwind. The Busfeild has a no smoking policy and no pet’s policy during food serving times (assisted dogs are welcome).

The Busfeild sleeps up to 6 people; it offers 3 luxury en-suite bedrooms. Two double rooms and one twin bedroom. The rooms are situated upstairs in the property. There is no one staying in the property overnight, guests are provided with keys to access the property should no one be present and can gain access via the back door.

Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking

  • Keys are collected from the Reception area located in the restaurant side of the Busfeild
  • A member of staff will welcome guests
  • There is a car park for approximately twenty cars at the front of the Busfeild and a small private car park at the back of the building for approximately four cars
  • There is a disabled car parking space 10 metres from the main entrance
  • The parking areas are levelled, gravelled, flat and even.
  • The area is well lit by natural light during the day and outside lighting is on during the evening for guests. The back car park has motion sensor lighting.
  • There are smoke alarms present in all areas of the building

Entrance to the property

You can enter the property via four options:

  1. Option 1: The main entrance. There are two steps 10 cm high, 60cm wide and 134cm length and 20cm high, 60cm wide and 134cm length which lead into the bar and restaurant area. The area has wooden and stone floors.
  2. Option 2: there are double doors directly into the bar area which has a ramp and no steps.
  3. Option 3: There is fire door in to restaurant which has no stairs and leads in to the stone floor of the restaurant.
  4. Option 4: the back entrance (guests will use this entrance if they wish to leave the pub or enter when a member of staff when we are closed)this entrance has 7 steps in with a hand rail the steps are 100 cm wide, 24cm length and 18cm high

Halls, Stairs, Landing and Passageway

  • The main entrance is 134cm wide and 213cm high this is followed by similar inner doors and there are then separate doors to the bar restaurant. The reception area is in the restaurant and the door is 80cm wide by 195cm high.
  • A member of staff will help with luggage if necessary and there are luggage rails in the rooms.
  • The whole building is very well lit.
  • The flooring downstairs is stone, wooden floors and carpets.
  • There are fire extinguishers throughout the building
  • Downstairs passageway is 10 metres long and 90cm wide

Sitting Room/Bar

  • The bar has part oak floor and part stone flag floor
  • Log fires and radiators heat the bar area
  • There is one step in the bar area 14cm high and 79cm wide
  • There are a mix of fitted seats, stools, chairs and tall chairs in the bar area which are used to compliment large oak barrel tables or lower level tables.
  • Large plasma TV downstairs
  • Magazines/papers available
  • Food served in bar area during set times

The Restaurant

  • The restaurant has a stone floor
  • It has a large, open fire
  • There are a mix of smaller and larger tables with free standing and fitted furniture.
  • The restaurant can seat 50 people
  • The tables heights are 75cm and the chair heights are 47cm

  • They have a tiled floor
  • Ladies sink height is 88cm, toilet 43 cm, mirror 150cm and hand dryer 130cm high there is also a full length mirror
  • Mens toilets 43cm high, troughs 66cm, sink 82cm and mirror 120cm high. Hand dryer is 130cm high

Upstairs Kitchen

  • The open plan kitchen is located upstairs via the 14 steps on the same floor as the rooms. It accessed through a door 82cm wide and 202cm high
