Terms & Conditions

Accommodation Terms & Conditions

These conditions apply to all Contracts for the provisions of goods and services for group accommodation, meetings and other events. Please read these conditions carefully in order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding the terms on which reservations are accepted.

1.0 Confirmations and Guest Numbers

1.1 All bookings are provisional until the relevant contract has been countersigned by the guest and dated. The Busfeild Arms will provide the client with a copy of the contract when this has been countersigned by the Busfeild Arms.

1.2 The contract will agree the specified number of guests. Any additional guests need to be made clear to the Busfeild Arms for catering purposes.

2.0 Payment

2.1 All accounts incurred will be invoiced. Payment is due for all credit accounts on presentation of invoice. Any queries need to be notified on date of payment. There is no refund for meals that were not taken during the stay.

3.0 Deposits

3.1 The client must pay the deposit up front. Should any deposit not be paid 7 days before booking date then the room will be deemed as cancelled.

4.0 Credit

4.1 All amounts agreed in credit must be finalised at the end of the stay. If not credit card details will be used for any outstanding amounts.

5.0 Extras

5.1 The Client shall pay the Busfeild Arms for any extras taken for goods/services or beverages whilst staying at the Busfeild Arms.

5.2 Dressing gowns will be charged at £30 per item should they be taken from the room.

6.0 Cancellation

6.1 All cancellations should be within 7 days of booking. There may be a cancellation fee taken from a deposit if less than 7 days notice is given.

7.0 Outside Services

7.1 For any entertainment, permission needs to be granted by the Busfeild Arms and for other functions not hosted by the Busfeild and must comply with statutory regulations.

8.0 Etiquette

8.1 The Busfeild arms reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise and behaviour of the Client and its guest. It is at the Busfeild’s discretion to terminate a contract.

9.0 Health and Safety

9.1 Guests must comply with Busfeild Arms policy. The Busfeild Arms is strictly No Smoking.

10.0 Fire Policy

10.1 It is the guest’s responsibility to adhere to the fire policy in place. The client must make themselves familiar with the fir meeting point and evacuation process. Details are located in your room or ask on arrival.

11.0 Licensing and Statutory Requirements

11.1 The Client shall maintain free access to fire exits at all times. The Client should observe the permitted hours for selling intoxicating liquors as stated by the Busfeild Arms.

12.0 Punctuality

12.1 Guests must arrive and leave at the assigned times in the contract.

13.0 Guests Personal Property

13.1 The Busfeild Arms does not accept responsibility for the property of the Client or its guests. Any items left are at the owner’s own risk.

13.2 The Busfeild Arms is not liable for any breach of terms beyond its reasonable control including (but not limited to) fire, floods, strikes, delays in transport or failure of services.

14.0 Damage

14.1 The Client shall be responsible to the Busfeild Arms for any damage caused to the allocated rooms or the furnishings, utensils and equipment therein or to the Busfeild generally by any act, default or neglect of the Client or guest shall pay the Busfeild on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.

15.0 General

15.1 All payment time is off the essence. The contract is assignable by the Busfeild but not by the Client. The Contract will be governed and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of England.
